Hao completed his bachelor degree in Harbin Institute of Technology and finished his Master’s degree in Zhejiang University in 2012.
His research is about humanoid robots. During his master degree, his research was on the gait planning and balance maintenance, seeking for the optimal walking pattern between the speed, the force and acceleration of joints. Besides, some control methods were involved to maintain the balance when robots walking fast. In 2014, he becomes a PhD student in HIT Lab NZ. His interest is how the robots can mimic human movement naturally.
In his spare time, Hao likes doing some sport activities, such running, table tennis and playing basketball, occasionally playing video games.
