Lei is a current PhD student in the HitLab NZ working in the field of remote collaboration. He wants to find some solutions for a remote group to collaborate with each other on one task in a large room-scale workspace by using mixed reality techniques.
Lei comes from China and completed his bachelor degree in the field of software engineering in China. After the undergraduate study, Lei has worked for almost two years in the field of database management and data mining. Then, He came to New Zealand and finished his master’s degree in the HitLab. His master topic is about gesture based interaction for handheld devices. Now, He chooses to continue his study as a PhD student in the HitLab NZ.
In his spare time, lei prefers to do some reading about all kinds of novels and also likes to paly video games with friends.
