Raphaël is an affiliated senior research scientist at the HIT Lab NZ (ongoing) and a senior researcher at ICG, TU-Graz (since January 2011).

His actual research interests include: 3D Interaction (with a special interest on TUI), Augmented Reality, Mixed Reality, Virtual Reality, Visualization, Videoconferencing (CSCW).
Raphaël joined the lab as a post-doctorate scientist in June 2004, after finishing his Phd in Computer Science at Joseph Fourier University (ARTIS, Grenoble, France) in April 2004. His Phd focus was on new collaborative augmented reality environment in tabletop meeting situation. Previously, he did a MSc at INPG (Grenoble, France) around the concept and characteristics of collaborative augmented reality games. Since 2008, he has been a senior research scientist at the lab.
