From HIT Lab NZ
Dr. Hirokazu Kato, from the Graduate School of Information Science at the Nara Institute of Science and Technology, visited HIT Lab from August to October 2007. He is the original creator of the world renowned ARToolKit library, developed with Mark Billinghurst. During his stay at the lab, he worked on markerless tracking technology.
Dr. Kato also gave us the chance to demonstrate his astonishing work during the HIT Lab open house.
