HIT Lab NZ is always seeking in new opportunities to collaborate with other individuals/companies and host new students.

  • Have you ever dreamt of visiting NZ in the context of your studies? Are you interested in doing high quality research in an outstanding environment?
  • Are you interested in collaborating with the lab for your new project? Do you have some funds that you want to invest in a research project with the HIT Lab?
  • Do you want to explore Augmented Reality in your academic research domain (e.g. education, history, biology)? Are you interested in engaging with the lab to explore our technology for your artistic work or in your creative process?

Students / Interns

The HIT Lab NZ offers a large range of Facilities for your research and different possibilities for internship or master/phd projects. You will also find a list of typical and current research projects in the Projects page. You can also check out the social activities at the lab here.

Some scholarships (undegraduate or postgraduate) may be already available, so look at the Scholarships page before continuing.

3 schemes are available:

Option 1: If you want to apply for a Master or Phd at the lab through our Postgraduate Scholarship program, see the Scholarships page.


Option 2: If you want to apply for a Master or Phd at the lab AND you have your own funds or government scholarship, please go to Phd_Program page.


Option 3: If you want to apply for an internship at the lab (as an undergraduate, during your Bachelor studies, or during your Phd)), please:

  • Fill out our Online Application form
  • And send us an email to with the below details:
    • Email subject: Internship Application
    • Internship period - such as 3 months, 6 months
    • Possible starting date
    • Funding details (indicating whether you have funding to support your internship or seeking fully funded internship)
    • CV - with the information of your skill set.
    • Academic grade - if possible

If you have an idea for a project you may want to include brief details in your e-mail (otherwise just describe where your interest lies).


Academics / Artists

Some positions may be already available, so look at the Vacancies page before continuing.

if you are an academic who wants to engage in collaboration with us, be a visiting researcher at the lab, do your sabbatical at the lab, or you are an artist or any other individual who is interested in collaborating on some projects with the lab, please send an e-mail to . Describe your affiliation, your interests, and the type of collaboration you would like to engage in with the HIT Lab NZ.


Companies

The HIT Lab NZ provides consulting work for companies, industries or any business entity. Work can range from technology reviews, research prototype development, user evaluations, projects design&development, product development. Please send an e-mail to . Describe your activity, your interests at the HIT Lab NZ, or any relevant information about possible funding or investment.


Volunteers

The HIT Lab NZ is always looking for volunteers.
