Mohammad Obaid has recently started his Ph.D. and will be focusing on the area of Facial Expression Modeling and Animation.
He completed his Bachelors and Masters degree in the Computer Science Department at the University of Canterbury, in which he gained First Class Honours for his Masters degree. His Masters' research project focused on the area of Non-Photorealistic Rendering, where he developed an algorithm for Automatic Painterly Rendering applications.
His computer interests include Non-Photorealistic Rendering, 3D Computer Graphics and Animation, Image Processing and Computer Science for Kids.
Mohammad's personal interests include soccer, traveling, sketching/drawing, photography and socialising.
