Past Student
Trond is studying towards a Masters degree in Computer Science. He completed a BSc in Computer Science at the University of Canterbury in 2000, and has since worked in business and internet software for various employers and as a freelance contractor. As well as his studies, he employs experience as webmaster for HIT Lab.
He is interested in a variety of topics within Computer Science, including 3D graphics, artificial intelligence, distributed systems, and human computer interaction. He also finds almost any other field interesting, particularly if he can transfer ideas from them back to his main interests.
He participates in several clubs on campus, and is an avid gamer. He is particularly interested in Live Role Playing Games, a form of partially improvised drama for which he writes scenarios and software when he has the time and motivation.
