We are proud of our latest PhD graduate: Eduardo Benitez Sandoval! His thesis “Reciprocity in human robot interaction” has been a true success and chapters of his thesis have been published at the International Journal on Social Robotics as well at the ACM/IEEE International Conference On Human Robot Interaction. Eddie’s senior supervisor, Christoph Bartneck, adds “From the amazing cover design of his thesis you already get a flavour of Eduardo’s outstanding design skills. He has the aesthetic understand and passion of a true designer and he has become a scientist during his PhD project. I am proud of his accomplishments and his social nature will be thoroughly missed in the lab.

Eduardo is now leaving us to join the University of Bielefeld for a PostDoc position. I wish him all the best for his future and I can’t wait to see what he will teach the Nao robots to do next.”
